Bent Tree Golf Course

$10.00 – $13.50 per hour
+ Complimentary golf during employment

Position Overview
At Bent Tree, our Starter/Ranger plays a key role in creating a welcoming, well-paced, and enjoyable experience for every member and guest. This is both the first impression and a steady presence on the course — helping ensure smooth tee times and great pace of play.

This is a people-focused, outdoor role where you’ll interact with golfers throughout the day while helping maintain the flow of the course.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & First Impressions
• Greet members and guests with a friendly, helpful attitude
• Communicate course conditions and daily expectations
• Help players get started on time

Tee Management & Pace of Play
• Manage the 1st tee (and 10th when needed)
• Ensure groups are ready 5 minutes prior to tee time
• Monitor tee sheet and maintain proper order
• Help keep pace of play moving smoothly

On-Course Presence
• Patrol the course and assist players
• Support slower groups while maintaining flow
• Report any course concerns

Course Care & Standards
• Encourage proper golf etiquette (divots, ball marks, bunkers)
• Help keep the course clean and well-maintained
• Check and refill course supplies as needed

Operations Support
• Keep starter area and practice facility organized
• Provide scorecards and player essentials
• Assist with tournaments and events
• Support golf operations as needed

✅ Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Organized and dependable
• Comfortable working outdoors
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Positive, team-oriented attitude

🎄⛳ Christmas Eve on the Course ⛳🎄

The weather is shaping up to be beautiful this Christmas Eve, making it the perfect day to get out and play. We’ll be hosting a 10:00 AM shotgun start, so come enjoy a festive round on the course.

The beverage cart will be out serving drinks, turn dogs, and cart burgers—and the Tavern will be open with a limited menu from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM.

Please help us support our Tavern staff by using the beverage cart during your round.
