Sometimes the best shots happen when you’re just testing the lights. 🖤🏈

My little guy tagged along with me while I photographed some of the senior football players at his future high school. I needed someone to stand in while I got my lighting dialed in… and apparently he’s been paying VERY close attention to the big Wolverines. 😂

The poses. The football. The serious face. The attitude.

Sir, you are in elementary school. 😂

But I can’t even lie—seeing him standing under that big W, knowing that one day it’ll be his high school, hit this mama a little differently. 🥹

For now, he’s just my light tester… soaking it all in and watching the boys he looks up to.

And judging by these pictures, I’d say he understood the assignment. 🏈🖤

Senior year. One final season. Bigger expectations, bigger moments, and a whole lot ahead of him.

But his strength isn’t just in the work he’s put in or the jersey on his back. It’s knowing Who he plays for.

No stiff poses. No boring football pictures. Just a bunch of seniors, a stadium, and permission to do whatever makes the shot better.

And apparently that includes throwing footballs at my camera, climbing all over the bleachers and doing backflips. 😂

This is exactly how I want senior football sessions to feel—big energy, a little chaos, and photos that actually look like the guys in them.
