In loving memory of my late mom, Ditty! These are the pastries my mom, Ditty used to bake & sell to send us to school in Jamaica. She was a single mom who had a passion for baking, belly laughs & bringing people together. Her dream was for us to start a Jamaican pastry business together after I finished university, she would bake & I'd run the business. But, in my senior year, she died from stage 4 cancer in 2016. When I lost her, I lost everything. She was my mom & dad & protector, all in one... she was the one person who I could call when everything was going absolutely wrong and her "don't worry, everything will be ok," made everything okay and I had no doubt. I lost my passion for life and for business, but soon gained it back slowly as I used baking as my therapy to cope. The scent of nutmeg & vanilla would make me feel close to her on the harder days I faced. We didn't get to start our business together, but today I get to keep her name alive through, Ditty....Island Delights. A percentage of profits will be donated to different non-profits that aids single moms, cancer patients, students in need & more. We are more than a business. Our goal is to give back to our community in every possible way as we grow. Help us, help others while enjoying delicious, authentic, Jamaican pastries. "A mother's love in every bite."

I injured my disc a few months ago & could barely walk, 2 months after treatment I felt brand new. My other doctors just wanted to give me pain killers and steroid shots that have major side effects.
