Radha Madhava — Prema Shringara 🙏
Inspired by Sri Jayadeva’s Gīta Govinda, I visualized Madhava lovingly serving and adorning Srimathi Radha Rani amidst the enchanting beauty of Vrindavan. I tried to portray every flower, ornament, and gentle gesture of applying Alta in Her tender beautiful hands as an expression of Madhava’s prema. In this tender moment, Madhava becomes the sevaka of Divine Love, lovingly fulfilling Radha Rani’s wishes.

Happy to share this painting on this auspicious occasion of Radhastami🙏
Blessed Radhastami.

‘Pañcha Rasas of Krishna Bhakti’— Five Ways to Love Krishna

As I was listening about the Pañcha Rasas, I was inspired to bring this idea into a single composition.
The fivefold classification — Śānta, Dāsya, Sakhya, Vātsalya and Mādhurya — is based on Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī’s Bhakti-rasāmṛta-sindhu. Inspired by the loving relationships revealed through the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam, I envisioned Krishna at the center, joyfully receiving and reciprocating with His devotees according to their bhāva.

Dāsya Rasa — loving Krishna through dedication, devotion and service. I could not imagine anyone other than Balarama Ji here,
because He is Krishna’s eternal companion and serves Him in countless ways, beautifully embodying the spirit of loving service.

Sakhya Rasa — loving Krishna as a close friend. I portrayed a Gopa who sees Krishna not as a distant Supreme Being,
but simply as his beloved friend — someone with whom he can laugh, play and share the simplest joys.

Vātsalya Rasa — loving Krishna as one’s own child. And who could represent this better than Mother Yashoda, whose boundless love sees the Supreme Lord simply as her little Krishna.

Mādhurya Rasa — loving Krishna as the Supreme Beloved. I tried to portray Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī’s selfless and complete love, where nothing is sought for oneself — only the happiness of Krishna.

And finally, Śānta Rasa — the quiet, serene love expressed through reverence and presence. Here, I wanted the entire world of Vṛndāvana to participate — the Yamuna, Govardhana, trees, birds, cows, flowers and even the humble butter pot. Each, in its own way, becomes part of Krishna’s world and serves Him simply by being there.

Five rasas. Five ways of connecting with Krishna. Five expressions of love🙏
This painting is my humble attempt to show that there is no single way to love the Divine. Each heart finds its own relationship with Krishna,
and Krishna lovingly meets us in that bhāva.
Wishing you all blessed Happy Janmashtami🙏

Kāliya Mardanam — The Divine Dance Above the Ego 🙏🏻

The Leela, in short…

According to the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam, Kāliya Nāga lived in the Yamuna, and his venom had poisoned its waters, making them dangerous. When Krishna’s companions were affected by the poisoned water, Krishna entered the river and confronted Kāliya.

Krishna climbed upon the serpent’s many hoods and danced upon them. With every step, Kāliya’s strength and pride diminished. Seeing their husband humbled, the Nāga Patnis approached Krishna with folded hands and prayed for His mercy. Krishna, moved by their prayers, spared Kāliya and instructed him to leave the Yamuna.

The Symbolism — What I Learnt..🙏🏻

To me, Kāliya represents ego, anger, jealousy, and the poisonous thoughts that cloud the mind.

The Yamuna becomes a beautiful metaphor for the flow of life and consciousness, which can become polluted by these inner poisons.

Krishna dancing upon Kāliya’s hoods represents divine consciousness mastering the ego—not through hatred, but through grace.

The Nāga Patnis remind us that surrender and sincere prayer can awaken compassion, even in the midst of adversity.

Kāliya Mardanam is therefore not merely the defeat of a serpent. It is the beautiful image of the Divine transforming poison into surrender, pride into humility, and fear into faith.

My humble attempt to present this timeless Leela visually. 🙏

Guru Raghavendra’s Hanuman Darshan.🙏🏻

Sharing a Divine story of Sri Raghavendra Swamy and Panchamukhi Hanuman in celebration of the 355th Raghavendra Swamy Aradhana Mahotsava through my art. 🙏🏻

Sri Raghavendra Swamy was a great devotee of Lord Hanuman. He spent many years in deep meditation and prayer in a cave near Mantralayam.
Pleased with his devotion, Lord Hanuman appeared before him in His Panchamukha form—with five faces: Hanuman, Narasimha, Garuda, Varaha and Hayagriva. Raghavendra Swamy received the Lord’s divine darshan and blessings. This sacred darshan became an important part of Guru Raghavendra’s spiritual journey and his eternal devotion to Hanuman.
