🛠️ ToolBank USA welcomes Bob Spreyne to our Board of Directors! 🎉

“What I value most about ToolBank is its ability to remove barriers to service by providing the tools organizations need to strengthen communities and expand their impact.”

Bob brings more than 36 years of experience with UPS, where he currently serves as Vice President of Transportation. Throughout his career, he has built deep expertise in transportation, logistics, and operations across the UPS Global Network. Experience that will be instrumental in supporting ToolBank’s continued growth and disaster response capabilities.

A longtime supporter of ToolBank’s mission, Bob is passionate about increasing access to resources for nonprofits so they can maximize their impact, extend their reach, and focus on what matters most: serving people and creating positive change. He is especially excited to help strengthen and expand ToolBank’s relationship with UPS while advancing our ability to deliver tools and services to communities in need.

In addition to his professional leadership, Bob is an active volunteer with organizations like Brotherhood for the Fallen, reflecting his commitment to service both on and off the job.

Our Director of ToolBank Disaster Services, Bill Hess, is no stranger to long days on the road, especially lately, as he’s been making trips between Panama City and Tampa to help relocate our Disaster Services warehouse (and every tool inside it 🚚🔧).

But no deployment road trip is complete without a must-have stop for a Ne-Mo's Bakery carrot cake. It’s become a bit of a tradition...and we can see why! They're delicious!

💧🌆Help Keep Cincinnati Cool This Summer🌆💧

A new initiative, Stay Cool Cincy, is bringing portable misting and fountain stations to some of the city’s hottest neighborhoods, and Cincinnati ToolBank is proud to help make it happen.

In partnership with the Cincinnati Innovation Team and the Office of Environment & Sustainability, they’re looking for 20–30 volunteers and local businesses to host accessible cooling stations along busy walking and transit routes.

This program is all about community, neighbors, businesses, and local leaders coming together to create real, tangible impact during extreme heat.☀️💙

📍Focus areas include Walnut Hills, Winton Hills, Bond Hill, Roselawn, Avondale, West End, Camp Washington, and beyond.
