In Atlanta, streetwear is more than a category—it is a cultural language.

It lives at the intersection of music, sneakers, sports, HBCU culture, nightlife and entrepreneurship. Long before certain aesthetics reached luxury runways and global campaigns, Atlanta’s artists, designers and communities were shaping how they were worn, interpreted and understood.

This October, Atlanta Fashion Week will bring that influence to life through fashion presentations, emerging and established designers, cultural experiences and new opportunities connecting creativity with commerce.

Atlanta doesn’t simply participate in streetwear culture. Atlanta helps move it forward.

Atlanta Fashion Week returns October 2–4, 2026. RSVPs open this week.

Atlanta didn’t suddenly become a fashion city. Fashion has been woven into the city’s cultural and commercial identity for generations.

From Rich’s—founded in Atlanta in 1867—to its celebrated Fashionata presentations that brought high fashion to the city, Atlanta has long understood the power of style, retail and presentation.

Rich’s Fashionata was one of Atlanta’s most celebrated fashion traditions, bringing high fashion, theatrical production and the city’s social community together for an annual presentation that spanned several decades. Led for many years by Rich’s Fashion Director Sol Kent, Fashionata introduced Atlanta audiences to influential designers, emerging trends and the excitement of the runway—helping establish the city as an important Southern destination for fashion, retail and culture long before the rise of social media and today’s global fashion platforms.

That legacy continues through the designers, stylists, photographers, beauty innovators, costume professionals, retailers and cultural tastemakers shaping Atlanta today.

Atlanta Fashion Week is building upon that history by creating greater visibility, industry access and pathways to commerce for the next generation of designers.

We are not beginning Atlanta’s fashion story. We are helping write its next chapter.
