Another Year I live to see 43 🎉🎉🎉

This past year came with its share of ups and downs… lessons, pressure, growth, and moments that tested me. But through it all I kept showing up — for my family, my team, my restaurants, and the vision God placed on my life.

43 reminds me of something powerful.

When Michael Jordan stepped away from basketball and came back chasing another dream, he wore #43 in baseball. It wasn’t about comfort… it was about challenge, reinvention, and proving to yourself you can still grow.

That’s what this year represents for me.

New levels.New discipline.New vision.

Grateful for the journey, the lessons, and everyone who continues to support the movement.

Chapter 43 begins now.

Every time I come to Jamaica I eat well… but this time & trusted me with a card and told me to swipe whenever I want.

I’m not sure who approved this… but we’re about to eat very well. One love to them for real!

Black History Month hits different when culture, history, and food sit at the same table.

This past week I had the honor of hosting an Afro-Caribbean Culinary Experience for my corporate partners — a four-course interactive dinner where I didn’t just serve food… I told stories through it.

Guests watched the process live as I demonstrated techniques, broke down ingredients, and shared the cultural roots behind each dish while cooking right in front of them. From West African influence to Caribbean heritage, every course was designed to show how our history lives inside our cuisine.

Food has always been more than a meal in our culture — it’s education, migration, resilience, and celebration all plated together.

Moments like these remind me why I became a chef. Not just to feed people… but to connect people.

Grateful for the opportunity, the conversations, and everyone who trusted me to create an experience, not just a dinner.

Black history isn’t only something we read about — sometimes you can taste it.

If your company or organization is looking for a curated culinary experience, live demonstration, or cultural dining activation, my team and I would love to bring it to life.

I said to myself I need to make more cooking content, letting the people know I don’t just call the shots but I still actually cook when I’m needed lol. Here’s a refined video of me in the trenches doing some line work with my guys. Stay tuned for more dope content to come. 2026 we aren’t stopping for no one 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾👨🏾‍🍳.
