PRESS CONFERENCE: Join us this Monday at 11 AM outside City Hall (Mitchell St SW & Washington St SW) for a press conference with Devon Anderson’s family. After the press conference we will be accompanying the family of Devon Anderson to the Public Safety Committee Meeting for public comment. Anyone who would like to sign up for public comment or give their time to the family of Devon, we recommend arriving by 12 to sign up. The PSC meeting will start at 1 PM

Today marks the 2 year angelversery of Devon Anderson.
It has been 2 years since Devon’s life was tragically cut short. Today also marks 2 years of struggle as his family continues to fight for justice.
Today we uplift Devon’s life, legacy, and his memory.
Officer Melvin Potter shot and killed Devon Anderson and we demand accountability!
We demand change in Devon’s name!

The fight for justice continues!
As we approach the two year Angelversary of Devon Anderson we ask everyone to join us and his family on July 18th for a rally outside APD HQ demanding that the GBI investigation be re-opened and killer cop Officer Melvin Potter be fired and indicted!

Despite APD Officer Melvin Potter’s history of reckless and violent behavior all the red flags were ignored and on August 5th 2024 while off duty, Melvin Potter shot Devon Anderson three times with his service weapon killing him. Two years later the GBI investigation has been closed. Meanwhile APD continues their internal investigation and Melvin Potter remains on the force. We stand with Devon’s mother and the rest of his family who continue to fight for justice for Devon and we uplift their demands that the investigation be re-opened & that Melvin Potter be fired and indicted for the murder of Devon Anderson.
