Help Surprise D. Smart Reclaim Her Voice, Support Her with a Smartphone

Dear community.

My name is Surprise D smart I am a 12 grade student at Harbel Multilateral High school in Harbel.

I am writing this with a heavy heart because something happened to me that I never thought would happen.

A few days ago, I went to the bank to pay my school fees after paying the money I came outside right around IB bank near the supermarket, some guys were on motorbike they stopped near me and asked where I was going and I told them I'm going to the supermarket the other guy in the middle pointed gun at me and asked for my phone.

I was so scared. They took my phone from me. I know a phone might seem small to some people, but for me it is everything. It is how I talk to my teachers, my classmates and family about school.

I am in my final year and I am trying so hard to focus on my studies so I can graduate.

My dream after I graduate is to go into heavy duty. My mom is doing her best, but right now she does not have the money to buy me another phone.

I don't want to fall behind in school because of this.
I don't want to lose my connection to my classes and my dream.

I'm not asking for pity. I'm just asking for help if anyone is able to support me with a phone even a used one that work it would help me stay connected to my school and keep going toward graduation and my future in heavy duty.

Thank you for reading my story. Thank you for seeing me not just as a victim, but as a student.
