The Southern Crescent District is part of the Atlanta Area Council, BSA, serving Scouts, Leaders and Parents in South Fulton & Clayton County.
For more than 100 years, Scouting has helped build future leaders by combining education activities and lifelong values with fun and adventure in the outdoors. We care passionately about what is happening to kids and in our communities – and are dedicated to supporting an exciting, quality program that builds better young people.

🎉🦅 Congratulations to Brian Jacobs of Troop 374 on earning the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout!
Brian successfully completed his Eagle Scout Board of Review on July 21, 2026. His hard work, leadership, perseverance, and dedication to Scouting have led him to this outstanding achievement.
As Brian prepares to begin his senior year of high school, the Southern Crescent District is extremely proud of him and excited to see what his future holds. May he continue to soar high, achieve great things, and lead by example.

Please join me in celebrating Asa Gilbert Jackson, who officially earned the rank of EAGLE SCOUT on July 23, 2026! 🦅🏆
I am incredibly proud of this young man and all that he has accomplished. Asa has demonstrated leadership, perseverance, service, determination, and commitment throughout his Scouting journey.
And now he is preparing for his next great adventure! 🎓🙌🏾
Asa will be attending Brenau University, where he plans to major in Biology and continue working toward his future goals.
Troop 3499 has another EAGLE! 🦅
Asa, continue to soar, continue to lead, and continue to make us proud. Your Eagle journey may be complete, but your journey in life is just beginning!
