This NFC card opens an agent-powered experience that turns a repetitive task into a practical automation blueprint.

You describe the work you want off your plate. The agent asks a few focused questions, maps where rules should stay deterministic, where AI can help with messy text, and where a human should approve the result. Then it emails the visual plan plus n8n workflow JSON you can import, credential, test, and customize.

The current production build uses n8n’s existing AI Agent node. n8n’s new reusable Agents feature pushes the idea further: create an agent once, equip it with instructions and tools, then reuse it across conversations, workflows, channels, and schedules. That opens up a powerful model—an agent in charge of the goal, with reliable workflows available as its tools.

⚠️ Agents is in Preview and is subject to change. Use n8n 2.34.x or later for the latest improvements. The Cloud rollout is phased, so not every .io Cloud workspace will see the Agents tab yet. The Preview first became available from version 2.32.3.
