Bintu is a 12years old girl, crippled by polio at age one. You can image what life would be for her on a raining day when everywhere is muddy and smelling or on a sunny day when the road she takes to school is hot and burning. Bintu is one out of the overwhelming majority of people who need wheelchairs do not have one. This has a profound impact on their ability to live independent or even leave homes. Our vision is to empower people with disabilities in West Africa countries, socially and economically, through the provision of mobility aids.
