📣 Building Promise USA is hiring a new Executive Director!

We’re seeking a values-driven, strategic, and relationship-centered leader to guide BPUSA into its next chapter of growth and impact.
Building Promise USA is a peer-led, peer-run, and peer-driven nonprofit working to eliminate the cycle of incarceration, unemployment, and homelessness among people impacted by the justice system and behavioral health challenges.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, fundraising, relationship-building, and organizational development skills—along with a genuine commitment to centering lived experience in leadership, programming, and decision-making.

📍 Austin, Texas | In-person
💼 Full-time, exempt
💰 $75,000 annual salary, with opportunities for performance-based fundraising bonuses
📅 Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis

What an incredible two days at our H.I.R.E. Event — Hiring Initiative for Reentry Empowerment! 💼✨

Over the course of the event, participants took part in workforce development courses, connected with community resources, explored employment opportunities, and engaged with partners committed to supporting reentry, stability, and long-term success. From digital literacy, resume building, interview assistance, and financial literacy to fair chance employment opportunities and reentry support, this event was all about opening doors and building brighter futures. 💻📝🤝
