For those who spend their days responding, serving, helping, and carrying a lot, sometimes an intentional day away is exactly what’s needed.

We were honored to partner with Centurion Boats, two days before the World Series of Wake Surfing in Winter Haven, FL, to give first responders, military members, and frontline workers the opportunity to do just that - spend a day on the water.

No agenda. No expectations. Just sunshine, water, movement, laughter, connection, and the freedom to simply enjoy the moment.

And there’s science behind the feeling. Intentional time in nature and on the water, combined with movement, social connection, and moments of awe, can create conditions that help the body and mind reset and recalibrate.

That’s part of why we do what we do at Operation Get Out. We create intentional, evidence-informed experiences that give people space to step away from the routine, reconnect, find renewed perspective through the changing tides of life, and make room for what comes next.

Sometimes the reset really is that simple.
