Child ‘hugs’ sculpture, parents may be stuck with $132,000 bill OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Two parents may be stuck with a $132,000 bill after their child damaged a sculpture inside the Tomahawk Ridge Community Center in Overland Park, Kansas, according to KSHB. The child’s mother, Sarah Goodman, said the incident happened during a wedding reception last month.

We had a pretty good storm last night. A bit of insurance advice for you all. Before you call an 800 #, go online or let your agent file a claim make sure you are past your deductible. Contacting the claims department opens a claim EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT PAID. If you have questions or need help, let me know!

I see it all of the time. I need the cheapest and best blah, blah, blah insurance. Who is that?
Then a streak of people telling others what is cheapest. What is best. The truth? Most have no idea. Their rate has little to nothing to do with yours. Then, do they have the right coverage? 90% chance they have no idea.
The only option is to be informed. Be informed enough to know who to listen to and why.
