That’s what the , one of the 10 teams on the Professional Bull Riding (PBR) circuit, is hoping to find out on June 27 at the Wilco Events Center in Taylor.

“The Next Gambler” will set out to find the next emerging bull rider on the circuit through a make-or-break and competition. The OptiWize Bull Riding 🐂 Challenge will be a companion event aiming to spotlight female talent in the sport.

Branndon Bargo’s journey to the top of the U.S.’s 50 highest points 🏔️ in each state began yesterday, on his trip to Alaska’s Denali’s Mount McKinley — the highest continuous peak in North America.

He’s aiming to break a world record and do it all in 17 days, per The Texas Standard.

Texas’ highest point is Guadalupe Peak, which is about two hours east of El Paso. It stands at 8,751 feet. Texas is the eighth stop on Bargo’s journey.

Bargo’s efforts can include driving to the top (or nearest to it before a short hike up).

Florida’s tallest peak, standing at 345 feet, is Britton Hill, almost on the Florida-Alabama border.

Bargo is an experienced adventurer and hosts the PBS show, “The Highpointers.” He’s also the assistant director of outdoor adventure at Southwestern University in Georgetown.
