Really happy to share the news that my self portrait was chosen by juror Daisha Board to be in the New Texas Talent 33 exhibition at Craighead Green Gallery in Dallas. The show opens June 27th. More to come!

What is it about nature that is so grounding? How can wild grasses blowing in the wind inspire us to take a deep breath? How can the filtered sunlight remind us that we are connected to something greater than ourselves? During cancer treatment, I spent a lot of time in my garden, feeling the sun on my face. I cannot thank nature enough for its part in helping me heal.

Thereās something about the ambiguity of details on a misty morning that calms the mind and brings quiet contentment. This is another value study, where Iām exploring those soft transitions and gentle feelings. Iām appreciative for my time here on earth. I hope this brings you a moment of peace, too. š¤
