15 years ago today, the Steiner Ranch fires changed our community forever.

We remember the families impacted, honor the first responders who answered the call, and recommit to keeping our growing community safe and prepared.

At the Capitol, I will act to prevent wildfires, protect our water supply, and give local communities the resources they need to keep families safe.

It was so special to celebrate Indian Independence Day at the Texas Capitol this year!

I loved seeing Monsoon Dance perform and celebrating alongside Shruti Anand, a fellow HD 47 resident.

As an Indian American, I’m incredibly proud of my heritage and of the growing Indian American community that calls Central Texas home. I’ll always make sure every community has a voice at the Capitol.
