Meet James

James has been part of the DaBella family for 6 years. His journey here started in an unexpected place: mid-installation on a bath job for another company. Frustrated by limited growth opportunities and a lack of real customer service standards elsewhere, James was approached by a DaBella team member... and the rest is history.

What he does: James leads the growth of DaBella's entire Bath Division. From evolving our product offerings and getting teams the samples they need, to hands-on training during his travels and building incentive programs that motivate the team to perform at their best.

His growth story: James started as a Sales Rep in Boise, ID, and made Team Lead in just 6 months. Eleven months in, he stepped into the National Bath Sales Manager role, a position he's now held for nearly 5 years. Along the way, he's been invested in through the John Maxwell Leadership Program and executive leadership training, sharpening not just his skills, but how he leads and treats people.

A moment he's proud of: James played a key role in selecting DaBella's Bath Systems manufacturing partner, and today, DaBella accounts for roughly 10% of all business done by that manufacturer, directly impacting the livelihoods of their employees. He stands behind the belief that homeowners are getting a product built to outlast the competition.

Why he stays: "This team demands excellence out of me and pushes me to be the best I can be. It's led to real career growth, and a real financial impact on my family."

His advice for new team members: "Very rarely do you get an opportunity with a company that is growing like DaBella, and that is so passionate about leadership and growth. Seize the opportunity in front of you, and change your life. It's changed mine."

Beyond the job: James is a husband to his wife Jayden, and dad to their first kiddo (turning 1 soon!). ⚾️ A former baseball player from age 8 through high school, these days you'll find him competing in local pickleball tournaments.

His go-to meal? His wife's Honey Lime Enchiladas.

His drink of choice: coffee, or a signature cocktail named after him: the "Macholicious" (OJ, Sprite, and a little something extra 😉).

Favorite movie: Moneyball.

Favorite song: "Lay 'Em Down" by NEEDTOBREATHE.

Favorite holiday: Christmas 🎄, hands down.

Meet Chloe Toombs - Production Trainer, who has been helping Project Coordinators across DaBella grow, learn, and succeed for the past 3 years and 5 months!

For Chloe, success isn’t just about what she accomplishes, it’s about the success of the people around her. 💪

From building and maintaining training programs to creating resources that make complex processes easier to understand, Chloe is passionate about giving new Project Coordinators the foundation, confidence, and tools they need to thrive.

One of her proudest moments came when she was nominated for the Catalyst Award at DaBella’s 2024 Kick Off, recognizing the impact of the training program she built, improved PC retention, and more than 50 new hires trained in one year. 👏

Her biggest lesson along the way?

“PROVING to IMPROVING.”

Chloe believes great leaders never stop learning, and that you can’t take someone to a level you haven’t been to yourself.

And when she’s not helping our teams reach the next level, you’ll find her coaching 📣 Liberty Falcon Cheer 📣 as a Jr. Head Coach for 5th/6th graders and Head Coach for the JV high school team. 📣

Oh, and she has a Ragdoll kitty named Ruby who specializes in snacks, snuggles, and sleeping. 🐱❤️
