BHM has a new name: "Elevate Haiti Initiative." We are advancing the Gospel in Haiti through faith, education, health care.

SERVITUDE
To serve is to replicate Christ, for “the son of man did not come to be served but to serve”. We believe that effective ministry is rooted in serving others as Jesus did. It is our desire that our service would be an extension of God’s love to those whom we serve, and and we pray that our actions would draw other people to Himself. In seeking to do this we also hope that our actions may inspire others to do the same. There are various ways in which one man can serve another. BHM’s hospital, clinics, and medical outreaches seek to serve the medical needs of the people of Haiti, while the employment that Mountain Maid provides for local artisans and families serve their economical needs. We serve people’s physical needs by aiding in the construction and repair of houses and churches. These are just a few examples of how are ministries are serving others future of Baptist Haiti Mission. DISCIPLESHIP
We are spurred on by the words of Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20 to encourage discipleship in the people of Haiti. Just as Christ mentored and instructed his own disciples we desire to see the fostering of spiritual maturity among the people of Haiti. As the individuals of the church are equipped and empowered so also will the church be strengthened, which will spur on the church to be strengthened. This will then motivate further development of new disciples, which creates an ever growing cycle of individual and church development. Education is a strong base of which discipleship can be built upon. BHM works with over 300 elementary schools to provide a Biblical education for the children of Haiti. BHM also runs youth camps designed to equip the youth of Haiti in faith to better contribute to their churches and communities. These are just a view examples of how are ministries are encouraging discipleship. DEVELOPMENT
We regard the local church as the most effective component in spreading the gospel of Christ. As a result, we seek to aid in the development of local churches so they may be equipped for every good work that God wills them to do, to be autonomous: to serve the needs of the people, to make disciples, and to participate in the development of other churches. It is our desire to continue to see the church increase in its ministry as we partner with them.

These little faces are a beautiful reminder of why we keep going. 💙

Fermathe Hospital recently welcomed families from the surrounding community for free infant immunizations, helping protect some of Haiti’s youngest and most vulnerable.

While so much of the news coming from Haiti can feel heavy, these photos tell another part of the story: healthcare workers serving faithfully, mothers caring for their babies, and a hospital continuing to open its doors.

Because of EHI partners, Fermathe Hospital can continue being a place of healing and hope. This is Kingdom generosity at work! 🙌

Today, on World Teachers’ Day, we celebrate the incredible teachers who pour into the EHI students every single day. 💙

Behind every student learning, growing, and dreaming is a teacher who keeps showing up.

To our teachers: thank you. Thank you for teaching with patience, leading with love, encouraging your students, and reminding them that their future is full of possibility.

Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom. You are helping shape a generation, and today we celebrate YOU!

And just like that… a new school year begins! 💙📚

Today we’re celebrating the first day of school for the kindergarteners at Pepiniere Baptist, one of our sponsored schools.

These classrooms are filled with more than lessons. They are places where children are loved, encouraged, prayed over, and reminded that God has a purpose for their lives.

As these little ones begin a brand-new year, will you help us equip their classrooms?

From $13 for a month's worth of lunches to $75 for a new chalkboard, every gift to our Back to School Fundraiser helps give students and teachers the tools they need. Plus, if you give today - your donation will be doubled given our current giving match!

Here’s to a year of learning, laughter, growing, and discovering just how BIG our God is. 🙌

What happens when we each bring what we can? God multiplies it. 🙌

A chalkboard. A bench. Books. Pencils. A month of meals.

Each gift may look different, but together they create a classroom where students can learn, grow, and discover the hope God has for their future.

Choose your impact and help fill a classroom. 💙 www.3hi.org

It’s hard to focus on learning when you're hungry.

That’s why a school meal can mean so much more than food.

It means energy to learn.
Strength to grow.
A reason to stay in school.
And one less worry for a child and their family.

For just $13, you can help feed one student for an entire month.

Yes… an entire month. ❤️

$13 can help make sure a student isn't trying to learn on an empty stomach.

Let's make sure students have what they need—not just to attend school, but to thrive there. | www.3hi.org

Some of the biggest dreams start with something pretty small. ✏️

A child learning to write their name.

Solving a math problem.

Writing their first sentence.

Putting their dreams down on paper.

For $25, you can help provide pencils for students as they begin a new school year.

It may seem simple.

But sometimes the tools students need to learn are the very things that help unlock their potential.

$25 can put pencils into the hands of students who are ready to learn, grow, and dream big.

A book can take a child somewhere they’ve never been.

It can introduce a new idea.
Teach a new word.
Answer a question.
Spark curiosity.

And sometimes, it can help a student begin imagining a future bigger than the world they currently know. 📚✨

For $40, you can provide classroom books that will be shared, read, and used to help students learn throughout the school year.

$40. A classroom full of stories. A world of possibility.

We have two exciting updates from Fort Jacques:

1) Construction is moving forward! The church is continuing to take shape, bringing us closer to having a space for worship, ministry, education, and community.

2) God is moving in the hearts of students! Children are gathering to pray, learn about Jesus, and make decisions to follow Him.

These pictures represent more than a construction project and a group of students.

They represent hope, faith, and a future being built.

We’re thankful for every person who has prayed, given, served, and walked alongside Elevate Haiti Initiative.

Now is the time to join what God is doing!

Sometimes making a difference is as simple as giving a child a place to sit. 💙

But when that bench is filled with students, it becomes a place where futures are built.
