Bass Guitarist and Singer in Austin, TX In the following years I learned to play the entire Brass family and then picked up Bass, Guitar and Harmonica.
Born in Brooklyn, NY but raised in the suburban DC town of Manassas, VA began playing the Trombone at age 11 and singing earlier than that. After a stint in the US Navy I returned home and attended local colleges while playing 5-6 nights per week in Hotel Lounges and roadhouses from Baltimore to Richmond. I later moved to Tallahassee, FL with a road band in later years lived in New Orleans, Myrtle Beach SC, Charlotte NC, Dallas and presently in "The Live Music Capital of the World", Austin TX. I'm Husband to Kay, Dad to Sean, Stacy, Hank & April and Grandpa to Robert, Zach, Sandy Lu, Ryder, David, Ana and Natalee.
I'm a singing bassist with 40+ years of playing experience and most of it playing American Roots Music: Rock & Roll, Blues, Classic Rock, Oldies, Rockabilly, Surf, Big Band & Jazz Standards, R&B, Soul, Old Clean Country, Praise & Worship, Gospel and Bluegrass. Duos to Ten piece Show Bands, Pit Orchestras and everything between.
