Smith Elementary PTA

Our rights are important, our voices matter.

We have some of the most dedicated teachers at Smith Elemetary School. Many have served for decades at our school. The veterans serve as mentors to our newer teachers which help create a supportive environment. Mrs. Tierra Griffin is a Third grade teacher that received our campuses award for “Up and Coming Educator!” She came to teaching and to our campus as a new parent of Pre k student several years ago. She substituted and then was inspired to become a teacher at Smith elementary! She provides a warm, kind, fun, and inspiring classroom for her students every year. She exemplifies persistence, hope, and love for her students. You can tell the students thrive off of that, because she is often approached by the students at on campus events. She has been an avid supporter of our new and recently formed PTA! Elementary PTA and Smith Elementary School would not be the same place with you Mrs. Griffin! Del Valle Independent School District.
