Some Wolf

Back in 2023, I was planning a solo trip to Scotland, and found out wild rivers were playing in Glasgow, so I bought tickets immediately and saw that hazlett was opening for them. I started listening to his music and immediately had it on repeat. At the show, he totally killed. It was just him up there and he was just so good. Really inspired me to continue working on my own music.

Cut to 2025 and I get to see him (and talk to him - so nice!) perform at Antone's here in Austin. And now I know me and his other fans are all thinking about him and wishing him well as he's recovering from vocal cord surgery. I'll know we'll all be ready to see you play again when you're healed. Until then. I'll keep listening and trying to learn your stuff to share with others.

Folkin around on Ladybug by one of my all-time favorite bands, Breaking Benjamin . I've only seen them 9 times lol. Always loved this song and just had the idea a couple of days ago to learn it on acoustic, while adding my own little bit to it as well.

Heard this song today and decided to cover it. Might add it to my next show.

Flashback Friday to a song I co-wrote 25 years ago with my buddy, Joe, for our short-lived band, The Revenge. Continued to play this song in at least 2 other bands and now i thought I'd folk it up a bit.
