I’m curious if events like these exist: small booths set up with the *artists themselves* as the exhibit.

Maybe people would think differently about Gen AI (and the creative process in general) if they could see the actual humans responsible for the beauty in their lives.

This is more of a thought experiment than anything else, but honestly… what even *is* art if the WIFI goes out? Can you still ‘create’ without it?

If you are an artist, author, musician, actor, narrator… I see you. Generative AI doesn’t make you useless or replace you!!!

The fact that these billion dollar companies want to gobble up your art just means that your value is waaaaaaay far and above anything they will admit.

To be clear, I’m not talking about all usage of AI. I do believe it is an incredible step forward in the realm of technology. But generative AI is being used in such unethical ways that there’s real damage being done.

And a quick heads up: if you’re a troll and want to spew in the comments… I *will not* be engaging. That is all.
