The 98th Annual State FFA Convention is in the books!!!
Lake Travis FFA was proudly represented by 11 outstanding individuals (Haven Borbon, Bowen Bennett, Makayla Zaki Warfel, Carolyn Hall, Mila Gerard, Nia Haus Calderon, Bryce Judd, Grace Odom, Myrical Curbow, Carson Gentile, and Coral Popa) this past week. These members were amongst over 16,000 in attendance. During convention sessions, they heard twelve motivational/inspirational retiring addresses, heard from the state officer candidates & voted for the 2026~27 state FFA President, attended leadership workshops, attended the exhibit hall with industry/collegiate vendors, attended FUN night, saw old friends and created/pinned new ones.
Our members completed in the Teach Ag Contest & Quiz Bowl. Four of these individuals served on the State FFA Courtesy Corp (Grace, Carson, Myrical, & Mila). Mr P White & Ms Schuett served as delegates for the annual Texas FFA Alumni & Supporters meeting selecting a new council for the upcoming year. Mr K White was recognized on stage for his service to the Texas FFA Alumni & Supporters (more later).
THANK YOU TO OUR LAKE TRAVIS FFA ALUMNI FOR YOUR SUPPORT ❣️
