One of the easiest mistakes to make when starting something online is beginning with the tools.

Those questions matter, but they shouldn't necessarily come first.

Before choosing the tools, get clear on the foundation:

What am I trying to build?
Who is it for?
What problem am I helping solve?
What value am I offering?
What do I want this to become?

Once those answers become clearer, choosing the right tools and strategies becomes much easier.

Otherwise, it's easy to spend months trying different platforms, buying tools you don't need, and following strategies that were never designed for what you're trying to accomplish.

You don't need to have every detail figured out before you begin.

But having a clear direction can help you make more intentional decisions along the way.

You don’t need to chase every opportunity that comes your way. You need to become better at recognizing what aligns with your goals, circumstances, and resources.

And sometimes, the right decision will be yes.

Sometimes, it will be not yet.

And sometimes, it will simply be no.
