We are still overjoyed by the incredible effort at our annual Day of Service. Driven by our Youthworks students, our team collaborated for weeks to plan, coordinate, and execute a massive day of community service💙♻️

Working closely with volunteers, our teams tackled painting, car washing, neighborhood cleanups, landscaping, and construction projects around the greater Rosemont community.

This critical work would not have been possible without the generous investment and hands-on support of our sponsors: ADT , Kiewit, and Lightning Electric (Lightning_Electric).

Week one of Youthworks is officially in the books!💙♻️

From developing business ideas and sharpening leadership skills to creating culinary dishes, gaining hands-on construction experience, and bringing stories to life through media, our students wasted no time getting to work!

This first week was filled with learning, collaboration, and the beginning of new opportunities. We’re proud of the energy our young leaders have brought and can’t wait to see how they continue to grow throughout the summer.

Here’s to an incredible start and an even stronger finish! And a special thanks to Catholic Charities of Baltimore for the amazing space at the Carolyn E. Fuggett Center!

Day 1 of YouthWorks is officially in the books!💙♻️

Today, our summer cohort hit the ground running at the Carolyn E. Fugett Center. For the next five weeks, these young leaders will be gaining hands-on experience in the their trades. Whether that’s learning construction skills, diving into culinary arts, mastering business and covering media; our interns are working directly on projects that uplift West Baltimore!

We’re not just teaching skills—we’re building paths to careers. Big shoutout to our team, partners, and instructors for making Day 1 a success! Let’s get to work!

Exposure creates opportunity💙♻️

Yesterday, our Requity Construction students had the opportunity to visit the Baltimore Electrical JATC IBEW Local 24 Training Center, where they learned more about careers in the skilled trades and the pathways available through union apprenticeship programs.

From touring classrooms and training facilities to connecting with instructors and industry professionals, our students gained valuable insight into what it takes to build a successful career in the electrical trade.
