We just love Kathy Fahey’s art. If you have ever wondered to yourself, “Wow, that Geraldine logo is super cool!”, it’s because it is Kathy’s custom paper cut art. We recently saw some new crankies done by the Lantern Sisters and fell in love with the skeleton donkeys. We’ll have skeleton donkey coozies and stickers available at our shows. It was fun to sit down with James Houck from What’s Up Media and discuss the Annapolis Baygrass Festival. It is hard to believe that we are only a few weeks away!

Excited to play a special trio show with William Brauneis and Kai Knorr at the Doghouse Mansion next Friday, Aug 21 in Roland Park, Baltimore. We will be sharing the bill with the one and only Seth Mitchell band. If you are in the Baltimore area and love Bluegrass, you surely know of Seth Mitchell, his songwriting, and fantastic band.

Very family friendly event. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and settle down for a relaxing evening of original songs.

Returning Baygrassers already know and love this amazing string band - new Baygrassers are about to fall hard for them! 💙

Geraldine is the hardest working band at Baygrass:

As the Baygrass House Band, Geraldine will kick off the party on the main stage on Sunday. You'll also catch them all over the festival throughout the weekend - performing the Official Baygrass Theme Song, "In The Water," busking around the festival grounds, and maybe even showing up in a workshop and more!

As stewards of Appalachian motifs in a modern framework, Geraldine blends banjo, mandolin, guitar, fiddle, and bass with lush four-part harmonies in a free-wheeling repertoire of both rare and wonderful gems from the past and original songs.

Catch Geraldine at Annapolis Baygrass Festival and in the DC/Baltimore area and beyond!

We always look forward to playing house concerts. The intimate setting gives us an opportunity to connect with the audience and for the audience to connect with the song. And you all know, it’s all about the song! This is a wonderful house concert series in Silver Spring, MD. Come get up close and personal and hang with us next Friday, July 10th.
