Teporah is classically trained at Peabody and Oberlin Conservatories, as a pianist and composer. Her education includes ethnomusicology, and drumming.
She composes, performs and produces ballads, rock, classical, New Thought, and healing ambient music. Teporah grew up in a musical family, with a blend of professional folk, classical, and jazz musicians. She studied classical piano, composition and trumpet at Peabody, then moved into Indonesian gamelan, and sacred music at the University of Marlyand and in Bali and other ethnomusicological studie
