The hard dodger is taking shape! I have the exterior glued up and all the joints filled and sanded. It’s nice to see the

coming along nicely. Huge thanks to our Patroens for helping finalize the design today. Made the templates, cut the plywood, glued in place with TotalBoat Once it cures, I can fill in the gaps better and start sanding the sharp corners into nice gentle curves. Lots of this weekend!

Thanks for everyone’s help in determining what to cut off and where to cut to make the dodger match the look of the boat!

After a lot of input from our followers, the hard dodger has been cut down to size and is taking shape nicely! Small, low profile, and flows with the lines of the boat.

ShakeSure chain has arrived! is going to be held in place securely when we anchor. Having the chain on hand makes it easier to build a custom anchor locker which will keep the weight central and low in the boat.

Vacation is over, time to get back to work on Windpuff!

We sailed to Annapolis this weekend with just the animals. It was so nice for them to get the attention that they had been used to before we had kids. Felt like old times!
