The love for the culinary arts was bestowed upon him from his grandmother and mother. In high school, he was able to take culinary arts as an elective and become more skilled in his true calling. After high school, Carl attended and graduated from Baltimore International College, where he fine tuned his craft and perfected his skills in cooking and catering. In 2012, he founded his own personal chef/catering business, “Mama’s Boy Baked Goods”, and the name says it all. Mama’s Boy Baked Goods is a way for Carl to share his gift with the world, and express his love for cooking through many different avenues such as pastry vending, personal chef services, catering events, or teaching the youth and passing on his culinary passion to the next generation, including his three sons.
