Could Ziaire Williams be the Lakers’ answer at the 4?

With Jonathan Kuminga choosing Minnesota, a legitimate starting opportunity could be opening up for Williams in Los Angeles.

Luka Dončić needs a frontcourt partner who can run the floor, finish lobs, make the right passes, and knock down threes, and Williams believes he can fill that role.

Per Ryan Ward, when asked if Kuminga’s decision opened the door for him to start, Williams didn’t hesitate:

“Yeah, I do… That’s the GM’s job, right, to put the best pieces together to try to win a championship. I don’t think it’s altered whether or not Kuminga was here.”
