DON’T LOSE HOPE

When Jesus stood before His accusers, He heard them call Him a blasphemer. He endured their ridicule, their false accusations, and the blows across His face. He was quiet. There is a time to remain silent. But toward the end of this crooked trial, there was a moment for Him to speak. And He revealed in one powerful statement why He never wavered. His accusers heard him finally speak up:

“You will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.”

He was suffering in the present, but His eyes were fixed on what was ahead. “For the joy set before Him, He endured the Cross despising the shame.”
