Fiber goals sound simple until you’re standing in the kitchen wondering what 25 grams of fiber actually looks like.🤭😂

The good news? You don’t need one super high-fiber food to get there. Small additions throughout the day can add up quickly.👏

Fiber can help support:
✨ Healthy digestion
✨ Blood sugar management
✨ Heart health and healthy cholesterol levels
✨ Feeling full and satisfied after meals

Think about what you can add to the foods you already enjoy. Toss berries into breakfast, add beans to a salad, throw extra veggies into dinner, or add avocado to your toast.🥑🍓🥦

You don’t have to completely change the way you eat to improve your nutrition. Sometimes, a few simple additions can make a big difference.🙌

Need help figuring out what your plate could look like for your health goals? 225 Dietitians is here to help.🫑🧅💚

📞 "A as in Apple... B as in Banana... No... M as in Mango...."😅

If you've ever called your insurance company, you know the struggle.

One of the most important steps before your first nutrition appointment is understanding your benefits. When you call, don't be afraid to ask:
✨ Is nutrition counseling covered?
✨ Can the session be considered preventive?
✨ Have I met my deductible?
✨ Do I have a copay or coinsurance?
✨ Will I need a referral from my doctor?

A few minutes on the phone can help you avoid surprises and make the most of your insurance benefits.

Need help knowing what questions to ask? We've got you.🫑🧅💚

Low potassium does NOT mean no potassium.👏

One of the biggest misconceptions we hear about kidney-friendly eating is that foods containing potassium automatically need to be avoided.

But it’s not always that simple.

Many potassium-containing foods also provide fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Depending on your individual needs, they may still have a place on your plate.🥑🍉🍊🫘

Your potassium needs can depend on your kidney function, lab values, medications, and overall eating pattern. For many people, it’s less about eliminating foods completely and more about understanding portions, balance, and what works for your body.

So before you start crossing foods off your grocery list because an old handout or Google told you to… talk to a dietitian.💚

Kidney-friendly eating may be a lot more flexible than you think.

🎶Ain’t no party like an on-hold party… because nothing says excitement like listening to this music while waiting for an insurance representative to tell us why a claim wasn’t paid as expected.🎶

Just because we’re in-network with your insurance doesn’t automatically mean your visit is covered at 100%.

Here’s what may apply to your plan:

💳 Copay – A fixed amount you pay for a visit (example: $25 per appointment).

📊 Coinsurance – A percentage of the cost you’re responsible for after you’ve met your deductible (example: insurance pays 80% of the visit, you pay 20%).

📋 Deductible – The amount you must pay out of pocket before your insurance starts sharing the cost of covered services.

Every insurance plan is different, which is why the same nutrition counseling session can be covered differently from one person to the next.

So while we’re over here dancing to the hold music, we’re also working behind the scenes to help you understand your benefits and avoid unexpected bills.💃📞

When it comes to fertility nutrition, there isn’t one magical “fertility food.” Instead, it’s about consistently filling your cart with foods that provide the nutrients your body needs to support hormone production, egg and s***m quality, and a healthy pregnancy.

👉 Swipe through to see what weekly staples are in our cart.

🥚 Eggs- seriously one of the most nutrient-dense foods you can buy.
Goal: Enjoy eggs most days of the week when TTC.

🍓 Colorful Fruit- Fresh or frozen—both count!
Goal: 2–3 servings daily.

🥦 Variety of Vegetables- The more color, the better!
Goal: fill half your plate with vegetables.

🐟 Salmon- support egg quality and healthy hormone function.
Goal: 2 servings of low-mercury fish each week.

🥛 Whole Milk: Provides protein, calcium, and healthy fats to help nourish your fertility journey.
Goal: 4-6oz full fat dairy daily

🌾 Whole Grains: support steady energy, balanced blood sugar, and reproductive health.
Goal: 3-5 servings of whole grains daily
