The Bends

Our debut album “If You Insist” is out today.

The four of us met four years ago to learn some covers to play at bars around LSU. We bonded over music from the very beginning through sharing our favorite songs, and going back and forth deciding which songs to cover. We bonded over our mutual nervousness of playing shows in front of our peers. And we’ve bonded as this band has made its journey to today with our debut album out.

We had no idea what to expect when we began releasing music. But you all supported us and gave us the confidence to cut ties with the lives we thought we had ahead of us, and to pursue this dream instead. This album is for you, and it’s about you - it felt like y’all insisted that we keep going as a band, and so we did.

Thank you to all who have listened, we will continuously be grateful that yall give us the opportunity to do what we love. Can’t wait to play these songs on the road for yall. God bless!
