Little Red Studio

Sometimes you just need a little ladybug painting to charm your space! 🐞🌿

Today is the perfect day to showcase the latest painting to come out of the studio! "Carpe Pax" (or "Seize Peace") features a serene field of wildflowers, with both Monarch and Swallowtail butterflies. In the words of Superhero, "It makes me want to lie down in the flowers and dream!"
We're in a new spot on Main Street in Hillsboro today - very close to the 2nd Street intersection. Come visit us today from 9-1 at Hillsboro Farmers' Markets !

It's a marvelous day for a market! Our pop-up gallery is all set up on Main Street at Hillsboro Farmers' Markets today until 1pm! We've increased our necklace selection (we offer 4 sizes of silver chains as well), and added a couple more Dancing Crayons!

It's our last day for the season at Seaside Farmers Market ! As ever, this has been one of our all-time favorite markets to participate in, and we are already looking forward to next year. In the meantime, come visit us and see our new pieces - including a new "Summer Glow" firefly jar that actually glows in the dark, and a tasty donut canvas, "Two With Sprinkles". We're here today until 6pm, and then we'll be back next June!

I'm so delighted with these White Swallowtail Butterflies! They are truly stunning! Ready to be sealed and framed, this new 16x20" canvas will be ready for our last Seaside Market of the summer this Wednesday!

There's no pop-up gallery today, but work continues in the studio! I can't wait to see these two butterflies come to life soon!

What an incredible day we had this last Saturday at Hillsboro Farmers' Markets ! In fact, between the last couple markets in Hillsboro and at Seaside Farmers Market , we've sold so much inventory that we have to take a week off in order to give me time to create more pieces of art! We'll be back in Seaside for the final time this summer on Wednesday, August 12th, and back in Hillsboro on Saturday, August 15th.
In the meantime, I can be found in the studio, and I'll do my best to give you some sneak peaks of things to come!

Happy August! We're starting the month at Hillsboro Farmers' Markets today from 9am-1pm, and we're spotlighting our bracelets and necklaces! Each piece features a portion of a Carolyn's artwork, giving you a wearable work of art you can take with you wherever you go - and at an extremely affordable price! Stop by and see us Saturdays this month and next, provided the weather holds!

I know, on market days I usually post a picture or our pop-up gallery, but very early this morning as I was watering the garden before the hussle and bustle of packing up and heading out, I found this cute little guy sweetly sleeping away on one of the marigolds. Naturally, I made sure to avoid disturbing this little bumble's slumber while the flowers and zucchini got their morning drink, and I just had to share the cuteness!
Who knows...maybe this will find its way onto a canvas one day! ☺️
For now, come see us today at Seaside Farmers Market ! We're here till 6pm!

What a perfect day for Saturday Market in downtown Hillsboro! I am so excited to feature a continuation of one of my earliest paintings for Little Red Studio, only now in the form of individual miniatures! "Dancing Crayons: Mini Series" - each dancer is hand painted on a 3x3" canvas, and comes with its own easel.
We don't expect these to last long!
Come on down to Hillsboro Farmers' Markets today feom 9am-1pm and visit our pop-up gallery!
