This heat has us beat.
I’m burnt, I’m sweating, I’m sticky. A constant state of ‘ewww’.
Current photo quality is also melting.
The smoke haze has reached our hills. I know we’re better off than many around the world, but still praying for rain to help these fires.
Millie is due next Wednesday 🫣 she is the definition of miserable. Keeping up with fly spray and hose downs for that poor cow. It doesn’t help that she’s a little… more than heavy. But she’s a champ!
I’m feeling horrible the girls are due this time of year. Here’s hoping she holds out until this heat settles off!!
Marla and Hickory are great. He’s a beef cake. Pics coming once we reach the other end of this heatwave. Ellie is spoiled and gets fly spray whenever she wants it to keep her pampered. Mo is also sweating and regretting. I feel it girl.

She’s some of my earliest memories, and they will always be the ones I hold closest. No one else can ever compare.

Marla is SO ready to not be pregnant any longer. She has officially reached the miserable stage.
She spends most of her time imitating a beached whale.
She makes noises that could be used in horror movies. The groans. The grunts. The sighs.
She is dripping and leaking in all the places a lady doesn’t want to.
Welcome to almost motherhood Marla. Do us all a favor, just lay down and push that thing out!
Marla is due on Wednesday, July 1st. I highly doubt we will make it the full 5 days. What are we thinking?? Heifer, or bull?
