Daedalus Audio

For decades I have not had a home listening room. I used the listening space at the shop, which is less than ideal. The system sounds very good there and I tell people if it sounds good here imagine how good it will sound in your home.
Well that's true. I finally have a home listening room and after a couple of years working on the room it is almost there. For the past twenty years it has been at shows that I got to hear what the Daedalus speakers can do.... but even that palls compared to what I am hearing now! Great recordings sound absolutely amazing and even older not so great recordings (but great music) still sound lifelike and musical.
I have become somewhat complacent as far as my company Daedalus Audio, but now I feel inspired to build these for people who want a bespoke speaker that can create magic. No, these are not the best speaker in the world, but they are easily among the very best in their price range.
If anyone is curious as to the system, here are the components in my home system:

LTA Microzotl Pre with big bottle 6SN7
LTA Areo DAC with big bottle 6SN7
VAC / Valve Amplification Company Signature 200
Daedalus Audio ZEUS
WyWires cables
This is a good system, not a cost no object system. But set up with care it gets amazing sound.
Next is to continue with room treatment....one of the most important parts of any audio system.

For over thirty years our goal has been making speakers that make music and fit into your home. Detail, tonality, speed and finesse all balanced. No showroom wow and sizzle just real music. I think Paul really got that! As the show promoter I know what all the rooms sound like and I was very pleased to get this award, since there were dozens of truly great sounding rooms.
