IT’S ELVIRA SEASON and it is unwise to go alone.
She hath returned 😈 Late last night as the winds changed in the Seattle cat room (could’ve been the AC but don’t be pedantic like that), Elvira started her metamorphosis into her most powerful form 🎃 Now, we must spend the rest of the month appeasing The Hisstress to avoid a frightful fate befalling us all 🙏
The Hisstress has ONCE AGAIN given us her favor in the form of her Cat of the Month Purrtection Pin 🙌 This token may serve to mark her most loyal followers, giving its owner a modicum of purrtection against her less benevolent whims ✨
For reasons yet unknown to us, her cauldron-forged pin emerged with images of Elvira being beamed into some sort of Unidentified Feline Object (UFO) 🛸 Alongside it is her broom, her crown, and an ear of corn (which we have to assume is incidental from a crop circle situation??) 🌽

Rubarbara & Dipper are home! 🏡
We know lots of y'all have been rooting for this mother/son duo!! 💖 They needed lots of socialization and spent most of their time in our purrivate suite, but with time, they warmed up to us and became so much more comfortable with people and kitties 🥰
Dipper started a little more confident but he always checked in with his mom after pets. Rubarbara initially only accepted love when treats were purresent, but she became a total sweetie with us 🥹
We were bringing folks back to socialize with them as they got braver, and the right person came along and fell head over heels! 🤩 Their pawrents even have some experience socializing shy kids to help them continue growing their confidence!

Chicken Nugget is looking fur a home and he could not be better guy 🐈
He’s been described by his staff as a clown dressed as a cat dressed as a clown 🤡 He’s a sweet guy! Easy going. Loves to snooze on a couch, sit in funny poses, talk to you in little chirps 🥹 Plus we just learned he likes bed snuggles!
He’s strawberry blonde, but he’s very orange in his heart 🧡 A silly goofy dude!
Chicken Nugget is currently in foster with one of his people as we work out what we believe is allergic dermatitis, so his person will need to be down to go thru an elimination diet with him to figure out what’s causing his sensitivities (we kinda think chicken might be a culprit which is unfortunately funny 🐓)
He’s cool with kids (a fan of the toddler in his foster fam!) and would be okay with other friendly kitties! Will happily be somepawdy’s very best furiend! 🥰
