Artsy Rambler/Dreamer/Writer
Dreamers who love art, mindful journeys (Paris, anyone?) and writing real and made-up stories.
I did this in 2012 and published it on Daily Motion in 2013—My first attempt at doing a video with clips from North and South and Pride and Prejudice.

Initially published on Spotify: my first, and likely my last and only podcast. I’ve never been comfortable facing an audience I do not know and do not see. And publishing a largely unedited podcast required exposing myself more than writing does.
But I like trying things new to me.
Books Unbound Podcast: Delving Deeper into Artsy Rambler Ariel Bissett, Books Unbound Podcaster, YouTuber, writer, book lover, likes to dig into the heart of books. So, she asked me probing questions that I answer in this podcast, initially published on…
Evy Journey transports readers into a contemplative exploration of history, mystery, and personal discovery. The pain of the soldier and his intermittent remorse come across as authentic and Clarissa's motivation in bridging the manuscripts with a coping mechanism of her youth highlights the originality of Journey's plot in a relatable context. Very highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reader’s Favorite review by Asher Syed of The Golden Manuscripts .

I’m in a rut, at the moment. This happens every time I finish a project. When it’s big enough, like a novel, the rut can last a while. This isn’t writer’s block, mind you. It’s a refractory period. Refractory periods are real (not implying that writer’s block is not) and can happen to anyone after any big or small, good or bad stress reactions. They refer to some kind of time-out, and in neurophysiology, they can be observed when your neurons take a rest after they’ve just been fired.
Sometimes, I deal with my rut by playing with more words. I haiku. It takes only 17 syllables, and rhyming is not essential.
Aimless? In A Rut? Haiku yourself out of it. - EVY WRITES When you find yourself in a rut or you're just bored. Haiku yourself out of it. It's fun and it's easy. You only need about 17 syllables.

Would it surprise you to learn that the art behind the Gothic style has something in common with Impressionism, an art movement you’ve heard of? How about art that’s all about light?
Gothic Churches: All The Celestial Light We Can See A fire nearly destroyed the iconic Cathédrale Notre Dame in Paris—arguably the most famous gothic cathedral in the world. Current efforts to restore it have been hampered, like most of life nowaday…

Locals like to call Bordeaux,—a port city known as Port de la lune (Port of the Moon)—“le petit Paris.” Maybe, this is an attempt to attract tourists. But Bordeaux has a charm all its own—French medieval history is more evident in Bordeaux than it is in Paris, particularly if you visit a couple or so areas within the region.
Bordeaux and Sarlat—Wine, Foie Gras, and Black Truffles Not until I’ve traveled to countries with centuries of civilization have I appreciated history. My early exposure to history didn’t leave me wanting for more. Memorizing dates and places without pu…

What is a Bohemian, anyway? In the popular view, she is someone unconventional, carefree, and usually involved in the arts. A free spirit who defies society’s rules and dances to her own drums. In this sense, a great many of us would think Paris is Bohemian.
Bohemian Paris: Myth or Fact? How do you imagine Paris? For the artist in many of us, it is a Bohemian Paris we conjure up and even yearn for. But is Bohemian Paris merely an illusion? What is a Bohemian, anyway? In the popular…

Images are both essential and important for all modern-day book covers. They’re the first and most obvious means authors and publishers inject art into books, and since covers are what may initially attract a potential reader, they help sell books.
Nick Bantock’s Griffin and Sabine Trilogy (see my review) and Antoine de Saint Exupery’s The Little Prince are two magical books of fiction about life—seen from the unalloyed wisdom of a child (The Little Prince) and the introspective musings of artists (Griffin and Sabine Trilogy). The books themselves constitute the art instead of art as a theme or a thread in the stories.
