Travel feels different in midlife. The dry hotel air, the sleep, the dehydration — I definitely don’t bounce back the way I used to. These are a few small things that help me feel better the next day when I’m on the road. Nothing complicated, just paying attention to what helps now.
I listed everything in the description for anyone who was asking. travel travel
Went down the biohacking rabbit hole — red light, CGMs, supplements, cold exposure, all of it.
What I found wasn’t a yes-or-no answer.
Some tools are genuinely helpful. Others are expensive distractions.
The real issue? Most people skip the basics and jump straight to the upgrades.
I wrote a full blog breaking down what’s real, what’s hype, and what actually makes sense — especially for women in midlife.

If you’re on a GLP-1 and noticing hair changes during perimenopause or menopause, you’re not imagining it.
Hair loss in midlife is often contextual — hormones, stress, protein intake, and metabolic shifts matter more than willpower.
This isn’t about quitting medication or panicking. It’s about understanding what your body needs right now.
I created a GLP-1 Hair Support Guide for women who want calm, informed clarity.

Did your provider talk to you about hair shedding? -1’s
Hair shedding after starting a GLP-1 can feel alarming — especially in menopause.
But for many women, it isn’t true hair loss.
It’s a temporary stress response that happens when the body experiences rapid change.
During midlife, shifting estrogen and testosterone make hair follicles more sensitive to:
• rapid weight loss
• low protein intake
• nutrient gaps
• cumulative stress
The good news?
When the body is properly supported, hair often stabilizes — and regrowth is possible.
I created a free Hair Safe Guide to help you understand:
✔ what’s actually happening
✔ what to prioritize (and what not to restrict)
✔ early red flags to watch for
✔ how to protect your hair while using a GLP-1
✨ Follow for menopause-smart wellness
