Tri-County Animal Rescue is a 100% no kill, nonprofit 501(c)3 animal shelter based in Boca Raton, Florida. Our goal is to prevent the killing of over 170,000 unwanted pets in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties each year. Since 1996, we have saved over 100,000 domestic animals from being euthanized. We also work with several local organizations and the local school district to educate the community on animal awareness. At Tri-County Animal Rescue, we believe that every animal deserves to live a happy and healthy life. Our mission aims to shelter and provide a comfortable home for all of the animals that are placed in our facility. We consider each cat and dog a member of our family, loving and caring for them with the utmost respect and tenderness until we can place them in their safe, happy, forever home. Every day, we witness animals who were once in despair, stray, neglected, abused, malnourished, or unwanted—leaving our care as happy, healthy animals. To see them walk out of our doors as completely changed animals is a joy that is difficult to express.

How are these two sweethearts still looking for their forever homes?! ❤️
Meet Riley & Vivian, two 30-pound best friends who may be a little shy when you first meet them, but give them some patience and you’ll quickly see just how special they are.
These two absolutely LOVE other dogs. 🐶 In fact, when they’re around another confident canine friend, they really come out of their shells, their personalities blossom, their confidence grows, and they truly shine! ✨
Riley and Vivian are best friends, but they do NOT need to be adopted together. Each would be happy finding a wonderful home of their own, especially one with another friendly dog to show them the ropes. And if someone happens to fall in love with both… well, we certainly wouldn’t complain! 🥰
They’re only 30 pounds each, making them the perfect sidekicks. They just need someone willing to give them a little time, a lot of love, and the chance to realize that the world can be a pretty wonderful place. ❤️
Come meet Riley and Vivian at Tri-County Animal Rescue and help us find these girls the homes they deserve!

🐾❤️ — CLYDE! ❤️🐾
This is why we LOVE Sundays! Nothing makes us happier than seeing one of our former shelter pups living their absolute best life. 🥹
Clyde’s mom sent us an update, and it sounds like he hit the family jackpot! She says:
“He’s the cutest bundle of energy. He loves his big brother Blu and big sister Margot. And we love him!”
And we LOVE hearing that! 😍 At Tri-County, adoption day may be goodbye for us, but it’s the beginning of everything for them. ❤️🐾
Happy life, Clyde! We couldn’t be happier knowing you found exactly where you belong. 🥰

💋 WARNING: Rosie WILL Kiss You.
Meet Rosie, a 10-year-old, 17.3-pound brindle Frenchie who has absolutely no concept of personal space. 😂 Rosie may be tiny, but she has a very big agenda:
Get pets. Give kisses. Get more pets. Repeat indefinitely.
Rosie is an absolute lovebug who lives for human attention. She wants to be beside you, touching you, staring lovingly into your soul and periodically reminding you, with her tongue, that you haven’t kissed her enough today.
Come meet her at Tri-County Animal Rescue!

HOW IS CAM STILL HERE?! Seriously… we don’t understand it.
Meet Cam, our pocket-sized life of the party! Born August 21, 2017, this tiny gentleman is pure sweetness wrapped in the cutest scruffy coat. He’s soft, gentle, friendly, funny, and absolutely LOVES being with his people.
Cam’s favorite place? Your lap.
His second favorite place? Wherever you are.
At breakfast, you better believe Cam will be supervising. 😂 He takes his job very seriously, making sure every single piece of dry food is properly covered with wet food. Standards are standards.
Cam wants to follow you around like your tiny shadow, curl up beside you, and remind you every day that sometimes the biggest love really does come in the smallest package.
❤️ Right now, Cam’s adoption fee is reduced thanks to our friends at the BISSELL Pet Foundation and their event!
We truly cannot believe this little guy is still here. Come meet Cam before someone else realizes what they’ve been missing.
