The four suspects in the m*rder case of Jacksonville rapper Julio Foolio have all been found guilty of first-degree m*rder. A Tampa jury reached a verdict in the case after eight hours of deliberation. Suspects Rashad Murphy, Sean Gathright, Davion Murphy, and Isaiah Chance were all found guilty. Prosecutors said Konig tried to unalive his wife, while Konig maintained that he acted in self defense.

Konig’s attorney, Thomas Otake, is now asking for the conviction to be overturned or for a new trial. The defense points to post trial interviews in which two jurors appeared to question whether Konig intended to unalive Arielle, along with an anonymous livestream comment claiming someone was texting with a juror during deliberations and correctly predicting the verdict.

On September 11, 2026, Judge Paul Wong questioned nine jurors about possible outside communication. All nine denied knowing about any contact. The remaining three jurors were scheduled to answer the same questions on September 18. The judge has not yet ruled on Konig’s request for a new trial.
