The South Shore market is still moving, but buyers are paying close attention to value.
A few mid-year takeaways:
• Massachusetts home prices were up 2.6% year over year in April, with a median sale price of about $652,846
• Homes statewide were spending about 26 days on market
• Norfolk County’s median listing price was around $880,000 in May
• Coastal and lifestyle-driven towns continue to see strong demand
• Well-priced homes are still getting attention quickly
For buyers, there may be a little more room to breathe. For sellers, strong presentation and realistic pricing still matter.
