TruForm delivers the highest quality specialty GP lens designs to eye care professionals, worldwide. TruForm Optics was founded in 1976 by one of the true pioneers of contact lens machining, Frank Svochak, Sr. After Frank’s passing in 1982 his wife Naomi "Jo" Svochak, assumed the role as President, and went on to be a pioneer in her own right, as she was the first woman to hold the position of President with the Contact Lens Manufacturers Association (CLMA). Today, TruForm is on it’s second generation of contact lens manufacturers with Jan Svochak leading the organization as President. In 2018 Jan was the recipient of the CLMA’s Leonardo Da Vinci award “For Vision In Establishing the Focus of the CLMA and Dedication to the Achievement of It’s Goals”. TruForm’s focus is on specialty lenses; producing the highest quality spherical, toric and other specialty gas permeable designs, while emerging as an industry leader in scleral, presbyopic and orthokeratology lens designs for myopia management. This family-owned business has grown to more than 30 employees and serves eye care professionals with specialty contact lenses, worldwide. Earlier this month, George Mera shared TruForm's Llevations Thin Trifocal lens with the attendees at the GP Lens Institute Symposia at the New England College of Optometry. They were able to evaluate a 30 year GP lens patient who has ben in a segmented lens for the past 10 years, always from NECO!(Patient loyalty!!)
