We would like to thank everyone who took the time today to remember the true meaning of Memorial Day. We honor the 575,507+ recorded battle deaths (as per congress.gov) from The Revolutionary War to the Persian Gulf Wars and the 59,404+ soldiers who have died in active duty from 1980 to today. We also honor the 80,000+ POW/MIA service members.

There is importance in honoring those who served and continue to honor them through time.

This May 17th, we came together to commemorate Captain James Mugford and the Battle of Shirley Gut as part of America 250. Look at all the fun we had! We also enjoyed a lecture by Eric Jay Dolan on Privateering during the Revolutionary Era and even got a visit from the MDAR State Regent, Mary Tedesco!
