Talkkr utilizes iOS7's multipeer technology, which allows users to chat with one another strictly over bluetooth and/or wifi connection; no cellular network is required. There is no sign-up or login process; you don't even have to give us an email address. Talkkr automatically enters you into an existing chatroom taking place in your area, or if there isn't a live chat going on, it starts a new one for you. Whether or not you want a username and status is up to you. If you don't create a username, Talkkr generates one for you. This app is completely anonymous unless you point yourself out like, "I'm over here in the blue hat and white shirt!" Talkkr is not linked to the web and messages are not transmitted through the internet, so there is no chance of your privacy being trampled on. Because iOS7's multipeer tech is powered by bluetooth, messages are received instantly and are deleted forever once you leave the chat or the signal is broken, we promise.
