✨ CREATIVE WORKSHOP — CREATE YOUR CHARACTER! ✨
The first days of school are here, and we’re all finding our way back into our routines. 💛
This Saturday, we’re making a little space for kids to unwind, imagine, create and just be themselves after a big week of transitions.
Each child will transform a wooden mannequin into their very own character using fabrics, textures, colors and lots of unexpected creative materials.
Who will your character become?
What makes them special?
What’s their story?
And what’s their SUPERPOWER? ⚡
No right or wrong way to create… superheroes, musicians, athletes, magical characters, silly characters… anything their imagination brings to life.
And parents, enjoy a little Saturday morning time while we create. ☕️

✨ We are so excited to announce our Monanito Afterschool Club Programs for Fall 2026!
This fall, we’re opening our studio for more opportunities to create, imagine, explore, play, and grow together. 💛
Our Monanito Afterschool Club is rooted in Expressive Arts, giving children the freedom to explore their creativity through art, storytelling, music, movement, imaginative play, language, and collaborative projects.
This fall’s programs include:
🎨 Expressive Arts + Play
📚 Spanish Storytelling + Art & Play
✨ Tween Creative Studio
🎶 Monanito Music Lab — Coming Soon!
Programs are offered Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays for ages 4–14, with groups designed for different ages and stages of creativity.
We believe every child creates differently, and age ranges are a guide, you know your child best! If you’re unsure which group would be the right fit, we’re always happy to chat. 💛

✨ A little look back before we begin a new season…
Time passes so fast. 💛 Back in May, we celebrated the end of our Monanito Afterschool Club with The Enchanted Forest Gallery Show. 🌿✨
Throughout the program, our Monanitos imagined, explored, played, and created and for our final celebration, we transformed the studio into an Enchanted Forest where their creations became part of their very own gallery. 🎨🌳
Families came together to walk through the gallery, celebrate the children’s work, mingle, and even create a mural together, a little piece of Monano made by many hands. 💛
We are so grateful for the beautiful community of parents and families who believe in what we are creating. Your presence, encouragement, conversations, and willingness to create alongside your children are such an important part of Monano.
Because Monanito is more than an afterschool activity. It’s a space to imagine, express, play, create, connect, and belong.
As we prepare for our new Fall Afterschool Programs, we’re finally sharing this beautiful memory and celebrating the community that continues to grow with us. 🍂✨

🎭✨ Puppets up, stories come alive!
For our End of Summer Creative Workshop, little hands created characters, puppets found their voices, cardboard microphones were ready, and imaginations took the stage! 🎤💛
We ended with our own puppet show, full of original stories, giggles, and creativity.
A happy little finale to a summer of creating together! ☀️
