The six drivers of student success coaching - City Year Student success coaching represents what we’ve learned from our decade-and-a-half of serving in schools and hope to do alongside students, teachers and communities in the future.
A new network pilot is designed to ensure that all students, especially those in underserved communities, have access to consistent, high-quality support. Student success coaching can be a powerful tool for closing opportunity gaps and ensuring every student has a champion in their corner.
By embedding student success coaches in more New York state schools, a new pilot, the Student Success Coach Learning Network in New York, aims to help improve attendance, academic performance, and student engagement, particularly for students who may be at risk of falling behind.
