The guide life has turned me into less of a picture taker and more of an enjoyer of time on the water lately. Fishing has turned back good lately after some tough weeks at the end of July. Scorching hot but if you can stand it the fishing has been good.

Been a busy several days; bass and crappie are good one day and tough the next. Enjoying these cloudy mornings. Can’t think of a better place to spend the day than on the water.

Few pictures from recent days. Some tough hot days mixed with some nice great ones lately. July has flown by.

A few from the past couple days. Little bit of a grind on the lower end of Table Rock for bass most recently, walleye still showing up. Crappie bite on Bull is still solid.

Been around some nice fish lately. The walleye showed back up the past couple days too; wish they would stay with me all the time!

Fishing really is the best way to spend a day for a lot of us. The bite has been consistently good lately, although the fish took a little bit to wake up this morning.

Some nice walleye have been showing up! Always unsure how long they will continue on the lower end, but it has been fun. Biggest bluegill I’ve seen in a long time showed up yesterday too.

Recently got to fish with a seasoned angler and spent a day learning from each other and just talking fishing and life. Love days like this one. We caught some bass, but we were able to get him his first walleye and smallmouth.

Had a great day on the water today! The temperature was perfect and Fishing was very good. Always good to be on the water making new friends.
